The spray rails on the underside were filled in with builders bog then sanded back

The pieces were then glued together using polyurethane glue, This is a good choice as it is strong, waterproof and is resistant to mist chemicals, This is handy when it comes to applying resin.

Firstly the plans were traced in Auto Cad then I got the pieces laser cut out of 3mm ply
I am currently building a 1200mm Radio Control Boat, after sourcing plans over the internet I have chosen to build a momo hull "Wild Thing" whitch was downloaded from www.modelpowerboat.com. I have found most information by reading other peoples experiences, however have encountered my fair share of problems. The reason for this blog is to help other people that are having the same problems as me. This is my first boat and after much research I hav decided to build it out of ply. The aim is to resin then paint the hull.
